ULFA (I) rubbishes Reports of ULFA Chief Paresh Baruah's Death
In a press statement issued by ULFA (I) today, the organization has rubbished the reports being circulated about the death of ULFA (I) Chief, Paresh (Axom) Baruah.
Reports published on unauthentic websites claimed that Paresh Baruah had met with an accident and had succumbed to his injuries.
ULFA (I) has claimed that all the reports are fake and are being circulated by people with vested interests.
In the statement, it was mentioned that "We, the "United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent)" have noticed that a fake news with regards to our Vice Chairman cum Chief of Staff h'ble Major Paresh Asom sir has been circulated in a section of Media about his so-called accident and death. We would like to clarify to our freedom loving people of Asom that our leader is safe and sound and has not met any accident. This is a hoax spread out by people with vested interest. We appeal to the people of Asom not to believe in this kind of propaganda regarding our leader in future."
G Plus also contacted top officials who also denied any such reports.
The authenticity of the PR is yet to be ascertained.
