3 minor girls rescued from traffickers in Guwahati
GUWAHATI: Three minor girls have been rescued by the Quick Response team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) from the Guwahati Railway Station. The girls were rescued from two human traffickers, including one woman.
The traffickers were arrested by the Quick Response team of RPF on May 17.
They were given a sum of Rs 15000 by the handlers in Delhi to take the girls to the national capital.
All the three victims are residents of Tengapani in Tinsukia while the traffickers hail from Sivasagar and Tinsukia districts of Assam.
The traffickers were later handed over to the police for further interrogation.
