Airline Passengers Complain at least 23 times Per Day!
GUWAHATI: Air travel never seems easy. Be it those mile-long queues at the security check line or the baggage delays or horrible customer service at the check-in counters. Flying for most people comes with many hassles.
Based on data circulated in the Lok Sabha for the months of April-October in 2018, there were a total number of 4,827 complaints, which approximately comes to 23 complaints per day.
The most number of complaints were regarding fl
ight problems, which got a score of 28 out of 100. It was followed by complaints regarding baggage and customer service, which got a score of 27 out of 100. 6 out 100 complaints were about staff behaviour, 4 out of 100 were regarding refunds and 8 out of 100 were miscellaneous.
