All book stalls across Assam to remain closed for 4 days, starting December 20

Protesting against the Assam Government's decision to publish school books for all government schools free of cost, all book sellers associations of the State have decided to remain close for 4 days, from December 20-23.

Book publishers and sellers across the State have strongly protested against the Government's decision to publish school books free of cost.

The publication houses have also denied to participate in Guwahati Book Fair, slated to begin on Wednesday,
December 20.
