IOC official arrested for Petrol Pump Allocation Bribe
GUWAHATI: The anti-corruption branch of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a senior Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) official in a bribery case.
The national investigative agency caught IOC official Dibyajyoti Dutta red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs. 2 lakh from a woman here in Guwahati.
According to reports, the bribe was in connection to the allocation of a petrol pump. The accused had collected the money from a luxurious hotel in Rukmminigaon.
