All Assamese Students’ Association to celebrate Bohag Bihu in Delhi

The All Assamese Students’ Association, New Delhi is celebrating the advent of the season of spring as the ‘Bohagi Utsav’ on the 8th of April 2018 at Shankar Lal Bhawan, North Campus from 4PM onwards.

Celebrating the festival of Bohag Bihu, the event will be full of exciting events and games such as the traditional egg fight competition and an episode of blindfolded- hit the target so that the people can experience the true culture and spirit of Assam.

The main attraction for the evening will be the presence of renowned Assamese artist Neel Akash and popular Assamese Actress Amrita Gogoi. Some extraordinary performances of traditional Bihu culture such as Jeng Bihu, Husori, and Assamese folk dances will be exhibited by the students.

Founded in 2009, the All Assamese Students' Association aims to unite the Assamese students residing in Delhi and rest of India to work for the development of its culture and heritage.
