Assam Singer Sarodee Borah Nominated for Mirchi Awards
GUWAHATI: Sarodee Borah from Assam has been nominated for the "12th Mirchi Music Awards, 2020".
She has been nominated for the category of "Best Upcoming Female Vocalist of the year" for her song 'Sapne Jo Bhi' in the movie 'Zindagi Tumse'.
She is the first female singer from Assam to be nominated for the prestigious Mirchi Awards.
Sarodee hails from Dibrugarh and she is the daughter of Sri Pradip Borah and Runumi Borah. Her father is a teacher at the Government Boys' Higher Secondary School.
Sarodee debuted at the national stage with her performance in MTV Coke Studio (Season II). She has also lent her voice in playback in several Bollywood movies like Shandaar (2015), Yeh Ishq Sarfiraa (2015), Shoorveer (2016), apart from singing in many television serials.
