East India Fashion Week successfully held
The two day fashion event, East India Fashion Week (EIFW), witnessed glitz, glitterati and top fashionistas of the city.
CGM - State Bank of India Mr. PVSLN Murty, Northeastern Circle, Guwahati, Mrs. Monalisha Goswami - Commissioner - Guwahati Municipal Corporation, Kazi Muntashir Murshed, Asst. High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India were the chief guests of the event on day 1.
12 designers showcased their designs along with 10 student designers from Royal School of Fashion and Technology, who stressed on the importance of environmental-friendly fashion.
Anu Rajbongshi, a weaver, was awarded 25000/- as part of the FNDC Purbashree Award.
All the 4 shows were fully as several of the city's fashion savvy crowd attended the event. The 2nd day of the show will feature 13 designers with the grand finale showcase by Anuradha Kuli who is a President Award Winning CraftsPerson.
