MVM Sipukhuri Students, Relive Your Good Old Days!

Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) Silpukhuri is celebrating its Silver Jubilee this year. To celebrate the feat, the school is organising an alumni meet for the first time, which will be held on 23rd Dec, at Greenwood Resort.

The alumni event 'SANSMARAN-2017: Revisit, Reunite, Relive' will witness a gathering of MVM alumni, all of whom are excelling in various professions today. The event will also witness a gala night, and an album launch by Zubeen Garg.

Aditya Todi, Vice President of MVM Alumni Association, says, "We are endeavouring to give back a token of love and respect to our school for what it has given to us in our lives. I encourage all passed out students who were part of our school's journey till now to come and join us on 23rd Dec to make the reunion a grand success."

The school has in the past, produced individuals who've excelled in their respective fields - be it academics, athletics or co-curricular activities.

Some noted alumni of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri are:

  1. Deep Jyoti Barman (passed 10th in 2000) - Currently working as a Senior Foreign Policy Adviser for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office at the British High Commission, New Delhi. 
  2.  Abhijit Pegu (passed 10th in 2001) - Currently working as Assistant Commissioner Anti-Evasion (CGST and Central Excise), Lucknow.
  3.  Prerana Das (passed 10th in 2003). She is mostly known by the name DJ Esha around the globe. Been djing for 6 years, she has released four Bollywood remixes and performed in various countries like Dubai, Muscat, Qatar and Bahrain.
  4.  Angaraj Duara (passed 10th in 2010) - A scientist by profession, he is currently working in Leicester Space Research Centre, England on CTA Detection on Very High Energy Gamma Rays from Space. Previously has worked on NASA's near space imaging mission - SuperBIT.
  5.  Sushree Jahanabi Choudhury (passed class XII in 2012) - Currently working as a performing artist exploring Indian culture, she has received national scholarship and national fellowship award from Indian Ministry of Culture.
