These vehicles will be used to carry devotees from their camps at Pandu, Naharbari, Badipara and Fancy Bazaar to the base gate of Kamakhya temple during the festival.

The bus service will start from 6 am in the morning and will continue till midnight.

In addition, 20 metro-share taxis, 20 Toyota Innovas and 5 Mahindra Boleros will be on duty for transporting people visiting Kamakhya temple during Ambubachi Mela.

The district administration will not issue VIP passes this time, so the devotees will have to walk to the temple from the gates.
