G Plus News | February 11, 2021 14:30 hrs

After the immense success of its launch edition in 2019 with a participation of 1500+ youth offering 48 hours of selfless service, the SRMD Global Youth Festival is back in a virtual avatar, with an exceptional line-up of speakers and events.

This Valentine’s Day, youth from over 14 countries will engage in an immersive experience, to celebrate a spirit of insight and dynamic action at the SRMD Global Youth Festival.

d by the vision of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai, founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, the festival marks the dawn of a new world after the daunting COVID-19 pandemic, by channeling the power of today’s youth productively and positively.

SRMD’s vision for youth development is built on the pillars of Satsang (Spiritual Wisdom), Sewa (Selfless Service), Sadhna (Wellness inside-out), Sanskruti (Celebrating Cultures) and Sports. Each element of this day-long virtual festival is based on this holistic 5S approach with an aim to become a means for all to unite for humanity, self-growth and progress.

Moreover, all the proceeds from the Global Youth Festival will directly be a medium in uplifting underprivileged tribal women of South Gujarat, through Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur’s Women Empowerment Initiatives.

Industry experts like Dr. Deepak Chopra (Founder, FCAP and Best-selling author), Dean Idalene Kesner, PH.D (Kelley School of Business), Mr. Ronnie Screwvala (Chairman, upGrad, Founder Trustee – Swades Foundation), Dr. Aditi Govitrikar (Actor, Model & Psychologist) will adorn the event with inspiring sessions. Performances by renowned music artists such as Kailash Kher, Kabir Café, Smt. Indira Naik, and Radhika Sood will add to the cultural glory of the event.

Drawing upon global unity across cultures and industries in a post-COVID world, the SRMD Global Youth Festival 2021 will drive the youth to reflect on the new normal and evoke a greater purpose together.
