2 missing IAF AN-32 planes decade apart share eerie coincidences
GUWAHATI: Two Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 aircraft that went off radar a decade apart share several eerie coincidences that include the place of the incident and the number of passengers onboard the aircraft.
According to The Print, an AN-32 aircraft just like the one involved in the June 3 incident had gone missing with 13 people on board while proceeding to the same location, Mechuka advanced landing ground.
Surprisingly, ten years back in June 2009, an AN-32
took off from Mechuka and was scheduled to land in Jorhat.
However, the IAF Antonov AN-32 went missing with 13 people on board near Mechuka in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Ten years after the incident, another Antonov AN-32 crashed in the same location with the same number of people on board.
