31 Bangladeshis Nationals detained in Guwahati
GUWAHATI: Government Railway Police (GRP) on Monday detained as many as 31 suspected Bangladeshi nationals, including eight women and 13 minors from Guwahati Railway Station.
GRP detained the Bangladeshi national from platform number one while they were about to board the Kanchenjunga Express for Agartala.
During preliminary questioning, the Bangladeshi nationals said that after entering India two years back, they had gone to Bengaluru where they got engaged in some petty works.
The entire Bangladeshi national hailed from Bagarat District, Khulna Division of Bangladesh.
Currently, they are being interrogated by the police.
