Ace cricketer Yuvraj Singh announces retirement from International cricket
GUWAHATI: Veteran cricketer Yuvraj Singh on June 10 has announced that he will retire from international and first-class cricket.
This was announced at a media interaction held in Mumbai.
It should be mentioned that Yuvraj has been seriously considering to take retirement from international cricket for a long time and pursue a freelance career in ICC approved foreign Twenty20 leagues.
In the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League, he had almost gone unsold before Mumbai Indians grabbed him at his base price.
Yuvraj last played a Test match in 2012 and ODI and T20 in 2017.
