Appointment Letters distributed to newly appointed Post-Graduate Teachers
State Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday distributed appointment letters to 254 newly appointed post graduate teachers, at Srimanta Shankardev Kalkakshetra.
Speaking on the occasion, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “We have tried our best to solve the problems within the Education Department. Till date 36,039 recruitments have been done after we came to power, which comes to an average of 2,120 teachers per month.”

g the teachers also re-iterated that no teachers should discuss about their profession and salary on Twitter. Any code of conduct which goes against the norms of education will not be tolerated by the ministry.
He further announced that if any teacher doesn’t get salary for 3 months, he or she can directly bring the matter to the minister’s notice via mail. He should also be informed if any SI demands for bribe against provision of salary.
The Education Department will soon make finger punching attendance machine facility available at all schools. The technology will be deployed at every school of the state from 1st January. All Government schools will have breakfast and uniform from next year.
