Assam Police to launch Cyberdome to tackle cyber crime
GUWAHATI: As part of the Cyberdome project, the Assam Police has purchased software after consultation with cyber experts and provided it in every district.
The Assam Police will launch Cyberdome, a high-tech centre for cybersecurity and innovation by the end of this month to effectively tackle such crime.
This software will help in monitoring social media and curb cybercrime in every district. The Special Branch has trained a police officer from each district, and they will work as master trainers for Cybercrime Vigilance.
Interacting with media persons at a function held here on Saturday, Additional DGP (Special Branch) Pallab Bhattacharya said that launching of Cyberdome will be a big boost for the Assam Police officials to effectively tackle cybercrime.
