Assam: Death toll for Japanese Encephalitis (JE) increases to 101

GUWAHATI: The death toll for Japanese Encephalitis (JE) has increased to 101, according to latest reports. 

Based on data from the health department, 439 people have been affected by the disease. 

As of July 19, the district-wise death reports came in from: Dibrugarh (26), Barpeta (12), Baksa (6), Bonagaigaon (8), Cachar (11), Chirang (6), Darrang (20), Dhemaji (20), Lakhimpur (37), Golaghat (14), Jorhat (27), Sivasagar (33), Morigaon (11), Dima Hasao (1), Karbi

Anglong (13), Sonitpur (27), Tinsukia (23), Nagaon (19), Dhubri (12), Goalpara (17), Hailakandi (4), Kokrajhar (2), Udalguri (13), Nalbari (17), Kamrup (M)- 16, Kamrup (R)- 27.
