Assam: Tiger from Kaziranga National Park Attacks Neighboring Village
GUWAHATI: A tiger from the Kaziranga National Park and Nameri ventured into a neighbouring village in Assam's Tezpur, attacking the locals.
As per the statement released by Kaziranga National Park, the tiger strayed out from Kaziranga/Nameri into Napam area near Tezpur University.
Sec 144 Cr PC was promulgated to control the crowd and a drive out operation towards Kaziranga was carried out in the late evening. The tiger ha
d moved towards Jiabharali area near to the 9th addition area.
Two persons were injured and admitted to the hospital. The situation is under control as per the officials.
