Cash-Laden Wallet Found on Road Returned to Owner by Guwahati Traffic Police
GUWAHATI: Guwahati Traffic Police has been applauded by citizens for returning a wallet that was found lying on the HB Road of Fancy Bazar to its rightful owner.
The wallet belonged to Mozamil Hoque of Baksa District.
“WPC Rwisumwi Basumatary of Panbazar PS traffic department found the wallet lying on HB Road with cash Rs. 20,500 and imp documents. She found the phone number of the owner & informed him & his belongings were returne
d,” Guwahati Traffic Police proudly tweeted.

DCP Traffic, Mayank Kumar Jha, speaking to G Plus said, “We are very proud of WPC Rwisumwi Basumatary and appreciate her dedication towards her work.”
He further added that Basumatary would be rewarded for her good deeds.
