GUWAHATI: India’s second Moon Mission, Chnadrayan 2 is all set to launch today, July 22, in the afternoon at 2.43 pm.

Earlier, the much-anticipated launch for the moon mission was supposed to take place on July 15. But it was aborted by the Indian Space research Organisation (ISRO) due to a technical snag.

The ambitious mission of ISRO India is expected to lift off from the Sriharikota space station. Chandrayaan 2 will take off aboard the most powerful GSLV-Mk-III rocket.

On Sunday, ISRO said in a statement that all glitches have been removed and the rocket is ready for launch.

ISRO Tweet on Monday:

“Less than five hours for the launch !!! Filling of Liquid Oxygen for the Cryogenic Stage(C25) of #GSLVMkIII-M1 commenced #Chandrayaan2 #ISRO”
