Congress Veteran Ahmed Patel Passes Away Post COVID-19 Complications
Veteran Congress leader, Ahmed Patel, passed away after undergoing treatment at a Gurugram hospital after testing positive for COVID-19. He breathed his last after multi-organ in the morning hours of Wednesday, November 25.
After the incident, the longest-serving president of the Congress party offered her condolenses. "In Shri Ahmed Patel, I've lost a colleague, whose entire life was dedicated to Congress. I've lost an irreplaceable comrade,
a faithful colleague & a friend. Feel deeply for his bereaved family to whom I offer my sincere feelings of empathy & support," Sonia Gandhi stated on Twitter.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his condolences. "Saddened by demise of Ahmed Patel Ji. He spent years in public life, serving society. Known for his sharp mind, his role in strengthening the Congress party would always be remembered. Spoke to his son Faisal & expressed condolences. May Ahmed Bhai’s soul rest in peace," PM Modi posted on Twitter.
