GUWAHATI: State-run fuel retailers on September 1 raised the price of non-subsidised cooking gas by Rs. 15.50.

The price of non-subsidised LPG, which consumers buy after exhausting their annual quota of 12 cylinders of 14.2-kg at subsidised rates, was today hiked to Rs. 590 from Rs. 574.5.

Currently, the government subsidises 12 cylinders of 14.2 kilograms each per household in a year. For any additional purchases, the consumer has to bear the market price.
