COVID-19 Update: Assam Crosses 60000-Mark
GUWAHATI: With 2900 new COVID cases being detected on August 10, Assam has crossed the 60,000-mark.
Taking to his Twitter Himanta Biswa Sarma announced:

The state has reported a total of 61,737 cases of COVID-19 as on August 10. Out of these, 43,586 have recovered from the virus.
The number of active cases now stands at 17,997 while 151 persons have succumbed due to infections caused by COVID-19.
The worst affected district of Assam, Kamrup (M) is also among the 13 districts all over the country that account for 9% of India's active COVID cases.
