Darrang boy Abdul Aziz beats odds to shine in Assam High Madrassa exams
GUWAHATI: Abdul Aziz from Athkuriapara village in Darrang has beaten all the odds and proved his potential in the recently announced results of Assam High Madrassa Examination (AHME) examinations.
Aziz, who comes from a financially weak family, stood second in the exams with 553 marks.
His village is still deprived of basic necessities like water supply, education, road and electricity.
However, Aziz proved his mettle as he relied on self-study and did not take up any tuition. His family’s primary source of income is farming.
