Graduate Tea Seller Wins the Heart of Guwahati Residents
GUWAHATI: A Guwahati tea seller has won the hearts of residents. The tea seller named Sadhan Chetry is a 23-year-old graduate of Bachelors of Arts from Saint Anns College, Kokrajhar in Assam.
Chetry has set up his unique tea stall at Hengrabari Road in Ganeshguri area of Guwahati. His specialty is the tandoori chai which has attracted a lot of youngsters.
Speaking to G Plus, Chetry stated, "Society might say a lot of things but one has to fo
llow his passion. This is a temporary situation, today I am here and tomorrow I will be in a better place."
Chetry has claimed that he has faced a lot of challenges in his bid to start the shop. "Sometimes they don't let me set up my tea stall and I have to fight with the authorities," added Chetry.
The residents have appreciated his efforts. "I really appreciate the fact that being an educated adult, he has come forward to start his own business. We must try to achieve this level of self-sufficiency," said Mayuri Das.
However few have shown skepticism regarding the move. "This indicates that the people have no jobs at the time. So, I find this a reflection of the lack of jobs in India," said Asif Ahmed.
