Guwahati boy absconds, leaves behind disturbing letter
Pratham Jasrasaria, son of Vikash Jasrasaria, a resident of Ulubari, has been missing since Friday morning (3rd November). The boy was wearing black tracks and light blue t shirt when he was last seen. He was also wearing white shoes and carrying a black and yellow school bag along with him.
Talking to G Plus, Vikash Jasrasaria informed that the 16 year old Pratham left a letter at home that read that he’s leaving home. He asserted that Pratham’s results were to come on the same day and someone had told him that he didn’t score well in the exams so he might have left home out of fear of getting scolded. In the letter, Pratham wrote that he didn’t want to disappoint his family with 60% result. He also wrote that his initial plan was to commit suicide but then he realised that since he’s good that Mathematics, he could get a job and sustain by himself.
The boy’s father said that he along with his son were about to go to the school together to collect the result but Pratham woke up early in the morning, got ready and left. After searching for a while, when the family members could not find him, they informed the police.
Pratham is a class 9 student of Faculty Higher Secondary School who has been missing since 6:30 AM, Friday morning.
The family has appealed to the public to help them find their missing child and call at 9706040005, 9954101108 or 9435102127 to give leads and information regarding Pratham.
UPDATE: The boy has now been found at Paltan Bazar by some of Vikash Jasrasaria's colleagues and is now in safe hands.
