LGBI Airport Guwahati Reels Under Flash Flood

GUWAHATI: Along with rest of the state, incessant rains in Guwahati have been creating havoc to this premier city of the northeast.

According to reports, the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Borjhar was submerged under water with the parking lot and the main entrance reeling under the flash floods.

Locals of the airport area alleged that as there is no proper drainage system for the excess water to flow out which is why the flash flood has occurred.

    Nothing new , very badly managed parking lot with 80% space being taken up by the taxis. The authorities need to come up with better parking alternatives, where is the 60Rs they are collecting from each car going ?
