Lok Sabha Elections: Queen Ojha to Contest Gauhati Constituency from BJP

GUWAHATI: The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the presidentship of Amit Shah has finalized the list of candidates from Assam for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

The Committee has decided the following names for the ensuing General Elections to the Legislative Assembly Constituency of Assam.


Here is the list of candidates who will Represent Assam:

Guwahati: Queen Ojha

Karimganj(SC): Kripanath Malla 

Silchar: Dr Rajdeep Roy Bengali 

Autonomous District(ST): Harensingh Bey 

Mangaldoi: Dilip Saikia

Jorhat: Tapan Gogoi  

Dibrugarh: Rameswar Teli 

Lakhimpur: Pradan Baruah 

However, the BJP has not announced the candidate for Nagaon and Tezpur parliamentary constituency.
