Minors kidnapped from Kamakhya Railway Station rescued, woman held

GUWAHATI: In a successful operation, the Jalukbari police on 24th July, Tuesday, managed to recover two minors who were reported missing from Kamakhya Railway Station.

The Jalukbari Police apprehended one Amirul Begum (30 years), who is a resident of Borbola Village, Howli, Barpeta. The kids were produced at the court and then handed over to the parents.

The two minor siblings, Pinky Rai (6 years) and Gopal (4 years), were allegedly kidnapped from the Kamakhya Railway Station on 20th July by an unknown woman near Platform number 4.

A case (964/18) was registered at the Jalukbari Police Station under section IPC 368 in which the two kids were reported missing.
