‘Modi Masks’, the New Trend in MP
GUWAHATI: Masks which were once worn to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus have now become a part of the attire. A variety of them are now being sold like hot cakes in the market.
With a variety of these now available, a special kind seems to be doing brisk business at a garment store in Madhya Pradesh.
Masks printed with the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other political leaders have become the new trend.
Kunal Pariyani, a garment store owner, claims to have sold about 500 to 1000 ‘Modi masks’, with the Prime Minister’s face printed on them.
Masks such as those with the face of Shivraj Singh Chouhan, chief minister of the state and those with the face of Rahul Gandhi also seem to have a high demand in the market.
