Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Bombay High Court Grants Bail to Rhea Chakraborty
The Bombay High Court (HC) has granted bail to actress Rhea Chakraborty in connection with a drug case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress got bail on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh.
Earlier, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested Rhea and her brother Showik Charkraborty in connection with the drugs case. However, the court rejected the bail plea of her brother Showik Chakraborty.
Rhea is still barred to travel abroad and
has to present herself before the police station for 10 days after release.
The High Court stated, "Rhea should mark her presence for 10 days in the police station after release, deposit her passport, not travel abroad without court permission and inform the investigating officer if she has to leave Greater Mumbai."
