Three students from Chandrapur College go missing in Brahmaputra

GUWAHATI: Three students, who had gone swimming in the Brahmaputra river near Chandrapur area of the city, have reportedly gone missing. 

The students have been identified as Trishna Kalita, Bhargav Deka and Ranjan Deka.

 

As per reports, a group of five students from Chandrapur College visited the popular picnic spot Topoban in uniform on June 10, Monday. While two of them, nameley Archana Deka and Dhrubajyoti Hazarika, escaped death by a whisker, the other three went missing.

A massive search operation has been launched to rescue the missing students.
