Tigress Successfully Rescued in Kaziranga After 24 Hour Long Operation

GUWAHATI: A tigress that had strayed into a house in Baghmari area at Bagori range in Kaziranga yesterday was successfully rescued by the tranquilization method.

The operation which went for more than 24 hours including wait and watch period was successfully completed after which she has been taken to the national park’s rescue center, CWRC for further care according to P. Shivkumar, Director of Kaziranga National Park.

She has recovered from anaesthesia and is not out of danger as per the Veterinarian who was treated her.
