Wine Shops to Open in Guwahati from Monday
GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Secretary, Kumar Sanjay Krishna in a press conference stated that the state government has decided to open wine shops.
The shops will start functioning with effect from July 20.
These shops were closed since June 28 for 3 weeks for Kamrup (M) lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.
However the Chief Secretary stated that all shops irrespective of nature of trade will be kept open on one side of the road on alternative day basis for the next 2 weeks.
