Zubeen Garg Returning to Assam Via Road Amidst Lockdown
GUWAHATI: Zubeen Garg, who has been stuck in Mumbai since March last, has finally started his return journey to Assam on 8th May.
He is currently undertaking the 2500 kilometre long journey in a bus along with his wife Garima Saikia Garg and two friends, Partha Pratim Goswami and Siddharth Sharma. Reportedly, they are expected to reach Assam by 12th May.
Goswami, talking to G Plus said, "We have to cross several state boundaries and take permission from every concerned authority. The journey might take longer than expected."
Garg was admitted to Nemcare Hospital on 27th February last after he had collapsed during an event in Guwahati. Following his discharge, Zubeen flew to Mumbai for further treatment and has been stranded their ever since due to the nationwide lockdown.
